Nicole Merkle

CV

Nicole Merkle studied Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe. She dealed in her Diploma Thesis: “Conception and Implementation of an Ambient Assisted Living environment for housing societies“ with the developement of a software solution for a simplified integration and configuration of an Ambient Assisted Living environment. She gained during her studies experiences as trainee and working student in different companies.

Since February 2013 Nicole Merkle works as a reasearcher in the IPE (Information Process Engineering) department of the FZI Reasearch center. The focus of her work is the developement of semantic representation-frameworks and agent-based assistance systems in the Health Care and Ambient Assisted Living domain.
