Dr. Diego Collarana (male) is a Lead Research Scientist and Senior Software Engineer at Fraunhofer IAIS. He is specialized in the conceptualization and development of enterprise information systems using state-of-the-art technologies such as Deep Learning and Knowledge Graphs. His master studies (Double degree Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and Technische Universität Kaiserslautern) in Software Engineering gave him a solid knowledge of Project Management, Software Architecture, Design, and Development. Furthermore. He obtained a Ph.D. (Magna Cum Laude) at the University of Bonn in 2018, which gives him enough expertise to solve complex problems in enterprises such as Knowledge Integration, Enterprise Knowledge Search, and Conversational Assistants. He is the founder/leader of several open-source projects, including MINTE a semantic integration technique and Knowledge Graph Embeddings to analyze the Industry 4.0 domain.
