Martin Kracker works at the European Patent Office (EPO) as project manager in the department of patent information dissemination. He is responsible for implementing and maintaining publicly available databases of worldwide patent information. Their main users are international organisations, universities, patent offices and large and medium enterprises.
He holds a PhD and a master in computer science. Before joining the EPO, he was a scientist and a consultant in public and private organisations as well as head of IT in the national Austrian patent office.
