As we've continued to watch the latest developments around COVID-19 closely, it has become clear to us that we will not be able to have an in-person conference in the US until the fall of 2021. While many organizations are producing remote conferences, that is not the way we want to launch Semantics in the US. Our goal is to create a conference where people can meet and learn from one another in a live, active setting, and we’ve made the difficult decision that a remote conference will not be sufficient.
Given this, we have decided to cancel the conference and recommend to visit the SEMANTiCS conference held in Amsterdam in fall 2021.
